We have each experienced some form of loss in our lives. Grief is a natural response to loss and may take on many forms. That is, we may not know how to process the grief, so we medicate our pain with pills or alcohol, or we immerse ourselves in our work, or we become absorbed in TV or media, etc. The emotional pain can range from mild discomfort to unbearable. Many times, the loss may have been unexpected. At other times, the loss was anticipated, but we do not know how to move on.
